Absolut vodka have launched a protest-themed campaign to coincide with this week’s G20 summit in London, in which campaigners and police have a light-hearted pillow fight in a city street.
The ad campaign will mimic the environmentalists who are planning an ‘unprecedented’ mass of protests during the G20 summit tomorrow.
The new Absolute campaign is their first since the Pernod Ricard’s presents life “In An ABSOLUT World.”
The ‘Protest’ advertising aims to deliver this vision by creatively depicting a world where all conflict would be resolved in peaceful exchanges.
‘It is designed to show the peaceful and fun way in which conflict would be resolved ‘In An ABSOLUT World.’’
The advertising will appear across London underground platforms, as well as on a range of online news sites.
Head of marketing for Vodkas at Pernod Ricard, said: ‘We wanted to ensure that the advert delivered genuine impact for consumers - likely considering the upcoming G20 summit.’
